World Future Society's Dallas Chapter Launches New Website
DALLAS, TX, OCTOBER 1, 2005 - The Dallas Chapter of the World Future Society is opening a new website. The chapter's founder, Bradley LaChance, says the site will allow the organization to reach more people in North Texas who want to make a difference.
The site is being prepared to assist in a membership drive that will take place this spring. Schedules, monthly events, and educational material will be posted for current members, and a special section will be devoted to relaying general information and announcing seminars for those interested in becoming new members.
Starting in January 2006, LaChance says the society plans to focus efforts on communicating the benefits of strategic foresight to colleges and businesses in the DFW Metroplex. "This is an exciting time in history," he says. "The accelerating pace of technological advancement, the dramatic shifts in geopolitical forces, and the growing awareness of our ability to impact ourselves and our environment provide us with a unique opportunity to create a more positive, more profitable future for everyone.”
Anyone interested in learning more about the World Future Society, the Dallas Chapter, or member benefits is encouraged to contact the Dallas Chapter via their new website at www.dallaswfs.org.
